Ingredients
  

  • 1 | lb | imitation crab meat | chopped
  • 1/2 | cup | mayonnaise |
  • 2 | tbsp | minced garlic |
  • 1/4 | cup | green onions | chopped
  • 2 | tbsp | fresh parsley | chopped
  • 1 | tsp | black pepper |
  • 1 1/2 | cups | breadcrumbs |
  • 4 | tbsp | butter | melted
  • 1 | tbsp | minced garlic | for sauce
  • 1 | tbsp | fresh parsley | for sauce

Instructions
 

  • Chop the imitation crab meat into small pieces and place in a large bowl.
  • Add mayonnaise and fold gently until the crab is coated.
  • Stir in minced garlic, green onions, parsley, and black pepper.
  • Place breadcrumbs in a shallow bowl.
  • Scoop portions of the mixture into the breadcrumbs and roll to coat fully.
  • Shape into golf-ball-sized rounds and arrange on a baking sheet.
  • Mix melted butter with remaining garlic and parsley.
  • Drizzle the garlic butter over the crab balls.
  • Bake at 400°F for 18-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Rest briefly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days.
Reheat in a 350°F oven to restore crispiness.
Shape and bread ahead, then bake just before serving.
Real lump crab can replace imitation for a premium version.
