- ½ | cup | water |
- 3 | tbsp | ketchup |
- 2 | tbsp | mustard |
- 3 | tbsp | soy sauce |
- ¼ | cup | honey |
- 1 | tbsp | sesame seeds |
- 2 | tbsp | fresh parsley | chopped
Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat oil in a large skillet and brown the drumsticks on both sides.
Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Pour in water, then stir in ketchup, mustard, soy sauce, and honey.
Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over the top.
Cover and simmer until the chicken is cooked through.
Uncover and cook until the glaze thickens and coats the meat.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped parsley before serving.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat gently in a covered skillet with a splash of water.
Chicken thighs can replace drumsticks with the same method.
