Ingredients
  

  • 1 | lb | pizza dough |
  • 1/2 | lb | ground beef or lamb |
  • 1/2 | | onion | finely chopped
  • 1/2 | | red bell pepper | diced
  • 2 | tbsp | chopped parsley |
  • 1 | cup | shredded mozzarella |
  • | | salt and pepper | to taste
  • | | flour | for dusting
  • | | fresh parsley | for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into rounds using a lid or cutter.
  • Place dough circles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Mix ground meat, onion, red pepper, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Spread a thin layer of meat mixture onto each dough round, leaving a border.
  • Top each with shredded mozzarella.
  • Bake at 425°F until crust is golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
  • Serve hot while the cheese is still stretchy.

Notes

Use store-bought dough for faster prep.
Assemble ahead and refrigerate, then bake just before serving.
Leftovers reheat well in a hot oven for 5 minutes.
Ground turkey or a meat-free mix can replace the beef.
