Ingredients
  

  • 12 | | garlic cloves | peeled
  • 2 | tbsp | sesame seeds |
  • 1/4 | cup | olive oil |
  • 6 | | fresh sage leaves |
  • 2 | cups | Greek yogurt |
  • 1 | tbsp | honey |
  • 1/2 | tsp | red pepper flakes |
  • 1 | tbsp | fresh parsley | chopped
  • 1 | | | crusty bread | for serving
  • 1 | | | salt | to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place peeled garlic cloves in a single layer in a cold skillet.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds over the garlic and pour olive oil over everything.
  • Cook over medium-low heat until garlic is golden and soft, stirring occasionally.
  • Add sage leaves and let them sizzle for one minute.
  • Spread cold Greek yogurt in a shallow serving bowl.
  • Spoon the warm garlic, sesame, sage, and oil over the yogurt.
  • Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with red pepper flakes and parsley.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh while the garlic topping is warm.
Store leftovers covered in the fridge up to 2 days.
Reheat the garlic mixture gently before serving again.
Use whole-milk yogurt for the creamiest texture.
